Bill is a Physics PhD student with a BS in Physics-Astronomy and a MS in Mathematics from Brigham Young University. He is working with Professor Mats Selen. His current research focuses on improving introductory physics for students not in physical science and engineering majors. He is currently working on improving the introductory mechanics labs through involving more open-ended design-based activities which focus on developing students' scientific skills.
Bill also enjoys working with various outreach efforts and is interested in studying how to make these efforts more effective.
