Improving Interactive Examples
8/1/2003
AAPT Meeting, Madison, WI, August 2003 (Contributed Talk)
The Physics Education Research Group at The University of Illinois has developed web-based "Interactive Examples" that allow students to answer complicated physics problems with varying degrees of help. In addition, we have logged student interaction with these interactive examples. With electronic data for thousands of students every semester we have been able to explore how students interact with computer-based learning tools and also improve these systems. In this talk a cross section of our results and ideas will be presented!
